Each year on the morning of February 14th, the residents of Treetops awake to find their sleepy little town enshrouded with love. Every surface has been gloriously adorned with love-hearts; posters are plastered to shop windows, and flags flutter in the breeze. Postcards are often placed in the mailboxes of the sad and lonely-hearted, and it’s been known for the guests of the ‘Evergreen Senior Living Center’ to find rich, succulent truffles beneath their pillows.
It’s a love that pays itself forward; posters are taken indoors and repurposed for poetry and love-letters, and the Elders share their sweet bounty with loved ones. By evening, love and fellowship still hang in the air, and this year’s victims go to sleep with a smile of gratitude for the Valentine Phantom.
This is so adorable, enchanting and lovely…
Hope a book is forthcoming ?✨✨??
So happy you love it! There’s one in the works 🙂
